VISIT FROM SANKON TO THE REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA EMBASSY IN ANKARA

Ferudun Cevahiroğlu, President of the Confederation of Industry and Trade (SANKON), visited the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Ankara.
Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Ankara Lt. Gen. Dr. Wıllıam M. Cevahiroğlu, who was received by the Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Ankara Lt. Gen. Dr. Wıllıam M. Sıkazwe, referred to the economic and commercial relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Zambia and said, “In order to develop and strengthen these relations, we are ready to work as SANKON and to develop and further strengthen our existing cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Ankara.”

Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Ankara Lt. Gen. Dr. Wıllıam M. Sıkazwe emphasized the importance of economic and commercial relations between the two countries and invited Turkish companies to invest in his country. Ambassador Mr. Sıkazwe said, “The relations between Turkey and Zambia are quite strong. We firmly believe that these relations will reach higher levels day by day. We will endeavor to further develop the relations between the two countries. In order to strengthen our economic and commercial relations between the two countries, our strong cooperation with the SANKON organization will continue with determination in the future. The Republic of Zambia is a gateway to the African continent for Turkey.”

Mr. Sıkazwe informed the SANKON delegation about investment opportunities and invited SANKON member companies to the Republic of Zambia. SANKON President Ferudun Cevahiroğlu’s deputies and diplomats of the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Ankara were present at the meeting held at the Ankara Embassy.
